Volleyball

Brooke's team had their last summer league volleyball game last night. It's been a tough summer for them. Starting 7th grade play involves alot of changes including a higher net, different rules for returning serves and a further-back serving line. She is hoping to make the school team so she'll have to keep practicing until try-outs after the first of the school year. We don't normally play sports during the summer because we're so busy and it's nice to have the time off but this was a short summer league and we're glad that she did it now. It will help her be ready for 7th grade try-outs. Blaire also got in on the action last night. For their first game Blaire was the line judge. She only had to call a line once and it was not in Brooke's team's favor! :) Their second game, Blaire was the scorekeeper!! She and Brooke both did a great job!
