A busy week!!

I finally got a minute to post some pictures from our last (busy) week!
Sunday we had a potluck after meeting for Dorothy W. Her husband recently passed away and she is moving to California with her daughter. We will miss her so much!!


This picture was also taken at the potluck. This is Mildred J, 93 years young!!


After the kids were finished eating Blaire gave Audrey S. a sewing lesson. Audrey has been impressed with some of the things Blaire made and asked her to show her a simple stitch. I thought this was so cute!


Ethne S. spent the weekend with us and I think this is just the cutest picture of the 3 monkeys!! It was their last day of summer vacation!


Monday morning: The first day of 5th and 7th grades!!



This is Blaire with the basket we made for her teacher. Each year on the first day of school we give a basket of goodies to their (elementary homeroom) teacher. Sadly, this will be our last year to do this because it's Blaire's last year of elementary and it's just too much to make 7 baskets for 7 teachers in middle school! This years basket was one of our favorites, though. It was filled with all kinds of fun goodies!!


After the first day of school I took the girls and their friend, Annika S. to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner. They look relieved to have made it through the first day, don't they? :) Blaire looks a little unhappy because she had just come from the doctor. She has a pretty bad case of swimmer's ear and it's really painful. She got some antibiotic ear drops and some pain reliever ear drops and she's doing better already!!
