Track has started at school for Brooke. This year she is running in three events rather than the two she was in last year. This year she is running in the mile, the 800 (1/2 mile) and the mile-relay events. They had their first (practice) track meet last week and she actually came in first in both the mile and the 1/2 mile. Then, her team came in first in the mile relay and came in first in most events so looks like their school is starting off the season with a bang!!
P.S. 4/2/10 - She is now running in only two events. Evidently there was some kind of rule against having her in the third event. So, now she runs the mile and the mile relay.
