A weekend with Papa and Nana
Last weekend we were at my parents' home and enjoyed some of their special meeting company as well as special meeting on Sunday. Saturday morning Scott and my Dad went to the cattle auction as Dad is adding to his herd each week now. When they returned with a trailer full, Brooke and Blaire joined them at the barn for vaccinations, watching Dad check each one over and various other activities that were just too funny to hear the girls describe to me. :) When I was younger I used to love to watch Dad take care of the cows and play vet, which he does a great job at. I really think if he had to do it over, he would go to vet school. Scott is really proud of his father-in-law when he sees him in action at the cattle sale and in the field. Dad has a nack for taking small, even very sickly calves and doctoring them back to health, feeding them and adding pounds to them so that they re-sell for much more than he bought them for.

So, were you cold, Brooke? :) I remember watching and helping Dad with his cattle! Great memories of growing up on the 'farm'.
Aren't Papa's great!!
Cute photos!! Makes me home sick! :( LOVE the top picture of BRooke...she looks totally grossed-out, or something! :)
