Spring Is Coming!!
This morning I was pleasantly surprised to see that the peach trees we planted last spring are blooming! We worried about them this winter especially since, after the cold and ice, with no foilage, they really looked dead! But, this morning there was proof that there is life! :) We don't expect to get a big crop of peaches from the two trees for a few years but we're glad to see the care we have given them has not been in vain. BLOOM ON! :)

Beautiful. You could get a lesson out of that...don't give up on anyone as you never know if there may be some life left that will eventually be visible.
Very beautiful bloom! And nice little lesson, Kristen!! :)
Your peach tree looks great. I am trying to figure out what fruit trees will grow in this climate. Have you started your garden, yet, this year?
Kari, We haven't started our garden because as soon as Scott found out he is going to be working in Killeen for the next year and a half he decided a garden might not be smart. I'm still trying to talk him into just a few cantaloupe plants. We had such a good crop last year!
