Run, Brooke, Run!

Brooke is in track season at school right now. Right before spring break they had the meet that determined if they'd be allowed to go to district qualifiers. So, she qualified for both of her events. This past week was the district qualifying meet and she is advancing again. So, next week she will run in the district meet in the mile and the mile-relay. I am amazed at the endurance these kids have. I think one time around the track would about do me in. But, to see them run four times around and still have a "reserve burst of energy" close to the finish line, blows me away! No matter what happens at district, Brooke is a winner in our eyes!!
