Brooke competed in the district track meet last week and was 6th place in both events. At least she's consistent. ha She was a little bummed about being 6th place in the mile (missed 5th place by 1 second) but I reminded her that this is 6th place out of ALL the 8th graders in the entire district who ran the mile this year! I think that's pretty good!! Her other event was the mile relay and she and the other 3 teammates came in 6th in the district. So, track is over for this year but it was a good "run!" :)
