Blaire's 12th Birthday

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Blaire turned 12 yesterday. Here is a picture with her gift, an ipod nano. Brooke gave her a gift card to buy iTunes to add to her nano. The girls had Monday and Tuesday off of school for Texas State Fair day and a teacher inservice day. So, Monday we met our friends Dale, Karen and Ethne at Chili's where the wait staff sang Happy Birthday to Blaire and gave her a chocolate shake. Tuesday we spent the day shopping and got to attend the opening of our brand new Super Target (one of our favorite shopping places!!). That afternoon, Brooke and I sang Happy Birthday to her before we each had a slice of her cake. We'll have to celebrate with Daddy this weekend since he is working in Killeen.
