This and That

Since school started we have slowed our pace a little but mostly, we're just busy with different things than we were this summer. Here are a few pictures from the past two or three weeks.

I don't know how well this picture will show up but for a couple of months now, in the early mornings, the girls and I have spotted two rabbits in our neighborhood, one white and one black. The other morning we were leaving for school and we spotted the white one in our front flower bed. Then last week when I was out for my morning walk I surprised them both and they hopped out from behind a bush. I guess someone is feeding them and keeping them happy so they stay around here.


Here is a recent picture of our "3 girls", taken after meeting one Sunday a couple of weeks ago. Angel is such a sweet natured dog and really easy to have around here. We feel like she's part of the family now.


Brooke made the (8th grade) volleyball team again this year. This year she is a starter and is having so much fun. She just loves the game. They had their first regular season game last Thursday evening and our friends, Karen and Ethne, surprised us by showing up at the game.


This afternoon we went to a restaurant to watch the University of Texas Longhorns play the University of Wyoming Cowboys. The girls "put their horns up" for this picture and their Daddy was very happy with the results of the game! :)
