Today was Blaire's first soccer game of the fall season. They played at 11 a.m. and did make it through the entire game but most of us parents were holding umbrellas over our heads the whole time! The good news was they won their first game 4-0!! So, it looks like they're ready to defend their first place title. They have a whole new game this year since they've moved to a full field with 11 players at a time on the field. So, they get very little time on the sidelines but, it's great exercise!! All of the rest of the games after hers this morning were cancelled so we barely got our first game in without having to reschedule.
We have just spent the rest of the day at home. We've been going through toys and games and books and trying to organize upstairs. It is quite a job and it looks like a toronado has come through up here!! Scott spent quite a bit of time at work today making sure wind didn't knock scaffolding over and watching out for leaks in the new building. It went pretty well. Blaire made her Daddy a batch of his favorite oatmeal cookies and the girls and I have played 6 rounds of the American Girl Wishes game and 4 rounds of Jenga today. It's been a nice, togetherness day!!
