We have a pretty nice sized garden this year (about 30X15). Not big by country standards but good enough for city folks longing to be in the country! These pictures were from a couple of weeks ago when Scott and the girls were planting. Now little plants are popping up all over. On top of the brick wall, where there are weeds in the picture, we now have several strawberry plants planted. And, we have 2 peach trees on the other side of the yard. Maybe we'll have so much corn and squash and other yummy fresh stuff that we'll have to ship some out! ha
(And, just incase you noticed...yes, that IS a measuring tape in the picture of Brooke and Scott. You should see what we have to go through to hang a picture on the wall!! ha ha)

Oh my goodness...does he really measure between seeds? HA I'm jealous of your garden...hope some day we'll have one. Glad the girls like to help in it... Remember all the beans, squash, etc we picked growing-up...UGH! :) Hmmmm....I don't really remember you helping much -- maybe that's why out of us 3 girls you are the only one with a garden!! :) Just Kidding!

I'm having to learn new ways to garden and that you can't grow "everything" in Wyoming!!!
To answer your ? on our blog. NO we will NOT be in Texas this summer!! Don't you know pregnant women are supposed to avoid the heat! ;) No we go south to visit at New Years time. We did make it to Texerkana convention one year and that was okay.
But NO trips to Texas/Arkansas in the summer please!!
Glad to connect up with more family bloggers! :)
So much fun....we planted our garden a couple of weeks ago also. The boys enjoyed helping and they are sure to check it everyday. Planting a garden is a great memory I have of Dad, Jeremy and I. I do remember once the vegetable and fruit was ready, often times we would eat more while picking, and there wasn't a whole lot to bring in the house!!!:) Hope you all have lots to enjoy this summer and fall.
