Brooke's 14th Birthday

Brooke celebrated her 14th birthday last week. It's so hard to believe we have a daughter that old! Where have the years gone? I'm sure this is just the beginning of that feeling!

Here's Brooke with her birthday cupcakes before Wednesday night meeting. She was wishing I would have had her comb her hair first since she'd just gotten home from basketball practice! ha She said, "You're not going to post these, are you?" But, she knew better! haha


Grandma S, Scott's mom, has been staying with us since Mountain Peak convention time. She'll be here until Thanksgiving so it was special for her to be with us to celebrate #14! (I didn't notice this until my sister, Teresa, brought it to my attention but look at the back door in this picture...Angel, our golden retriever, is very sad she isn't invited to the party! ha)


The girls with Blaire's gift to Brooke. Blaire is so thoughtful and she had bought Brooke two shirts from Aeropostale, some smell good items from Bath and Body Works and an i-tunes gift card. She really fixed her up! :)


And, here is our 14 year old with her hair combed a couple of days before. ha
